Our Story

The United Way of Southeast Missouri was founded in 1953 by community members seeking a more effective way to care for one another. Transitioning from a Community Chest to a Community Impact model, it now focuses on raising funds to change lives through key areas of Education, Income, and Health.

Since its inception, the United Way of Southeast Missouri has positively impacted over 39,000 individuals, showcasing a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life in the region.
