Our Story
In the early 1930s, dedicated business and community leaders established two of New Jersey's first Community Chests in Trenton and Princeton. Over 80 years later, the United Way of Greater Mercer County continues this legacy of commitment and service. Merging in 1994, UWGMC thrives on the same visionary spirit that ignited its founding.
Our Impact
UWGMC fights for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in every community. With the support of 1,054 volunteers, 205 households have been connected to essential programs, and 1,684 taxpayers received free tax preparation services in Mercer County.
