In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing economic challenges, United Way Fresno and Madera Counties is dedicated to addressing the pressing issues of wealth, health, and educational disparities that disproportionately affect Communities of Color. With a commitment to equity and opportunity, the organization has expanded its team and initiatives, including the innovative Prosperity Coaching model that teaches individuals how to grow and invest their wealth.

As founding members of the Fresno Digital Coalition for Inclusion, efforts are underway to bridge the digital divide, ensuring that underserved populations gain access to essential internet services. Through Participatory Grantmaking, residents are empowered to make decisions that impact their communities, while the Free Tax Prep program continues to provide vital cash back credits to qualified filers. The 211 Helpline remains a lifeline for those in need, available year-round.
