Our Story

Since 1921, United Way of the Capital Region has been dedicated to improving lives in Cumberland, Dauphin, and Perry counties by identifying pressing community needs and finding solutions. Evolving from the Harrisburg Welfare Federation, the organization now focuses on health care access, school readiness, workforce development, and basic needs.
