Founded in 2006 by Secundino and Ninfa Zuno, United Through Education (Familias Unidas) is dedicated to transforming the lives of families in low-income communities. With over 25 years of teaching experience, the Zunos recognized the need for a program that not only supports students but also engages their parents in the educational process. This innovative approach fosters a strong bond centered around learning, inspiring parents to take an active role in their children's academic journeys.

As immigrants themselves, Secundino and Ninfa are passionate about showing families that higher education is an attainable goal. Their own children, Esteban and Adriana, are shining examples of this belief, having graduated from prestigious universities and pursuing successful careers. Since its inception, United Through Education has positively impacted over 2,000 families, creating a vibrant learning community that promotes lifelong learning.
