Founded in 1981, United Needs and Abilities Inc. emerged from the advocacy movements of the 1960s, driven by the need for better support for individuals with developmental disabilities. Initially focused on epilepsy, the organization has evolved to serve a diverse range of developmental disabilities, ensuring that every individual has access to essential services. With a commitment to community integration, UNA has established satellite offices and a training center, providing vital resources to those in need.
