The Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York was established in 1986 through the merger of the Greater Albany Jewish Federation and the Schenectady Jewish Federation. This organization serves the Jewish community in the Capital Region, Israel, and around the world, focusing on building a strong and united Jewish community to ensure the survival and continuity of the Jewish people.
