Our Story

Founded in 1970, the United Indians of All Tribes Foundation emerged from a grassroots movement led by Bernie Whitebear, reclaiming land for urban Native Americans at Fort Lawton. Today, the Daybreak Star Indian Cultural Center in Seattle stands as a testament to this legacy, providing a welcoming space for cultural connection and community support.
