Our Story

United for Change Center for International Development and Global Citizenship (U4C) was inspired by a transformative visit to Bolivia, where founders witnessed the dire conditions faced by women in the mining town of Caracoles. Meeting women like Luisa, who endure extreme poverty and violence, ignited a passion to create opportunities for vulnerable communities. U4C collaborates with social entrepreneurs and global development practitioners to empower women through education and leadership.

Impact

U4C has engaged hundreds of women in programs that significantly enhance literacy, health, and economic empowerment. Notably, 469 women participated in maternal-child healthcare campaigns, and 443 women completed literacy courses, achieving a remarkable 278% average increase in reading and writing levels.
