Founded in 1989 by a coalition of Jackson County churches, United Christian Ministries of Jackson County Inc is dedicated to providing essential support to local residents. This nonprofit organization serves all individuals in Jackson County, North Carolina, regardless of their income level, embodying the call of Jesus Christ to minister to those in need.

Impact

UCM operates a client-choice food pantry that offers a variety of fresh produce, canned goods, and personal items, ensuring that families have access to nutritious food and essential supplies. As the only agency in the county providing personal hygiene items, UCM plays a crucial role in supporting the community.
