Our Story

Founded in 1955 by dedicated parents in Sacramento, United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Sacramento Inc was established to provide a better life for children with cerebral palsy. What began as a small group of advocates has grown into a vital organization serving over 4,100 children and adults with developmental disabilities each month.

UCP empowers individuals with developmental disabilities to live independently and with dignity. With 90% of donations going directly to programs, the organization significantly enhances the quality of life for low- and middle-income clients.
