Our Story

Established in 1974 by two empowered American Indian women on the streets of Skid Row, United American Indian Involvement has grown to become the largest nonprofit provider of health and human services for American Indians and Alaskan Natives in Los Angeles. Over the past five decades, UAII has dedicated itself to offering culturally sensitive services that empower communities to thrive.
