Our Story

Unique People Services, Inc. is a dedicated nonprofit organization founded in 1991 by Lynn Wonsang. Based in New York, UPS serves individuals who have faced discrimination due to their race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or health status. With programs across the Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, UPS supports over 1,000 individuals each year.

Impact

Each year, more than 1,000 individuals find refuge in our residences, receiving essential meals and support services. Our comprehensive case management helps stabilize lives, secure entitlements, and connect individuals to permanent housing and medical care.
