In 2013, Meg Daly, the founder of Friends of The Underline, faced a life-changing moment when she broke both arms. During her recovery, she discovered a neglected corridor beneath the Metrorail and envisioned a beautiful public park. Since then, Friends of The Underline has been dedicated to transforming this space into a 10-mile linear park, urban trail, and public art destination, collaborating with Miami-Dade County and the community.
