Our Story

Founded in 2005 in Atlanta, Georgia, Umu Igbo Unite was established by the D.I. Anadu and J.C. Okpukpara families to create a structured network for first-generation Igbo Americans and the greater Diaspora. With over 5,000 members and 16 active chapters nationwide, UIU is dedicated to fostering cultural connections.
