The Umbrella of Ukrainian Hope was founded by Elena Glickman, who witnessed the devastating effects of war on children in Ukraine. Established in May 2022, UUH focuses on providing educational, developmental, and stress-reduction programs for children and teachers, especially those who have lost their families due to the conflict.
As of 2023, UUH has raised over $33,000 and sent 8,265 parcels of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The organization has successfully implemented educational programs, art therapy, and support initiatives for teachers, significantly improving the mental health and well-being of children affected by the war.
