Uhiwai O Haleakalā is committed to protecting and restoring the native ecosystems and watersheds of the leeward slopes of Haleakalā. Established in 2018, this organization works tirelessly to improve freshwater resources while preserving Hawaiian cultural practices and supporting rural economic opportunities.
