UCOM's journey began in 1978 when a group of dedicated volunteers from the Jacksonville Ecumenical Right to Eat Advocacy Board collaborated with local churches to expand the Meals-on-Wheels program. This initiative blossomed into a robust network of 62 interfaith mission collaborations, dedicated to addressing the needs of the community.
