Our Story
The journey of U4Uganda began in 2009 when Dolores Bopp Potterton, alongside her daughter Erin, traveled to Alenga, Uganda. Witnessing the profound poverty and resilience of the local community ignited a passion to create lasting change. Inspired by the words of Ogali Alfred, headmaster of Amilo Primary School, Dolores recognized that education was the key to transforming lives. U4Uganda emerged from a collective hope, driven by youth-led initiatives aimed at raising awareness and support for the children of Alenga.
