Tysons Love and Hope on Wheels was founded by Denise Stewart after her Boxer, Tyson, was diagnosed with Degenerative Myelopathy. Recognizing the financial burden of wheelchairs for pets, the organization was established to provide loaner wheelchairs to pets facing mobility challenges. Serving pets with conditions like DM, hip dysplasia, paralysis, and amputations, the nonprofit has shipped wheelchairs across the United States and internationally.
Since April 2023, over 1,000 pets have been placed in wheelchairs, significantly improving their quality of life and mobility.
