Our Story

Twin Rivers Developmental Supports, formerly known as Cowley County Developmental Services, has been a cornerstone of support for individuals with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities since 1977. Located at Strother Field, this community-based facility was established to fill the gap in services for those with developmental disabilities, evolving from the Hope Haven School founded in 1969. Twin Rivers is dedicated to ensuring continuity of care and support for individuals in Cowley County.

Impact

Currently, Twin Rivers Developmental Supports serves 86 consumers with a dedicated staff of 66, providing essential services that promote independence, integration, and inclusion within the community.
