Our Story
In 1945, a visionary group of women from the Marin Child Study Section of AAUW established a Parent Education co-op alongside a nursery school program. Their goal was to create a supportive 'laboratory' for parents navigating the complexities of raising children. After meticulous planning and community support, Twin Cities Community Preschool was born at the Redwoods Presbyterian Church in Larkspur. Over the years, the program flourished, leading to the purchase of a permanent home in Corte Madera in 1952. Today, more than 75 years later, this initiative continues to thrive, showcasing the enduring power of collaboration and commitment within our vibrant community.
