Our Story
The Twenty Pearls Foundation, Inc. was established in 2003 by the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Xi Gamma Omega Chapter in Oakland, California. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to expanding the reach and impact of the sorority’s mission to provide 'Service to All Mankind.' Through various events focused on health and wellness, economic empowerment, higher education, and the arts, the foundation addresses critical needs in the Oakland community.
Impact
Over the years, the foundation has granted more than $200,000 in scholarships to high-achieving graduating seniors accepted into prestigious colleges and universities. Additionally, the foundation organizes community service events, such as the Community Health Expo, in partnership with local organizations.
