Twelve Baskets is a dedicated volunteer-run nonprofit organization founded in June 2014, serving the communities of Portage, Schoolcraft, Vicksburg, and Three Rivers. Initially established as a food pantry, it has expanded to include a Free Store, which opened in 2018, to address essential clothing, hygiene, and household needs.

Impact on the Community

Currently, Twelve Baskets provides perishable and non-perishable groceries to over 350 families during four Distribution Days each month. This remarkable growth reflects a commitment to fighting hunger, as the pantry now serves three times the number of families compared to the 2020 average.
