Founded in 1891 by Alice Fischer, Twelfth Night Club Inc. is the oldest club for professional women in the theater in the United States. Originally named the F.A.D.’s, the club was established as a sister organization to the Lambs and the Players. Renamed by Daniel Frohman, it has been a beacon of support for women in theater, TV, and film since its incorporation in 1893.
