Our Story

Founded in 2014 by Olive Rogers and Greg Owen-Boger, Turpin Cares began as a holiday project to knit hats and scarves for those in need. Over the years, it has evolved into a year-round initiative, expanding to include non-perishable food and essential items.

Our Impact

Turpin Cares distributes food, hygiene products, and relief items to individuals and families on Chicago’s south side, including migrants and those affected by the pandemic.
