Our Story

Founded in 1970, Turning Point of Central California, Inc. emerged from a community initiative in Visalia, California, aimed at supporting young people grappling with drug abuse. Over the years, the organization has expanded its reach, offering comprehensive mental health services, community corrections, housing programs, and recovery services across multiple counties in California.

Impact

In its inaugural year, the Dragonfly program served over 380 unique clients, with 100% of youth reporting improvements in their overall functioning. Turning Point prioritizes timely assessments and quick access to therapy, achieving an impressive average contact time of less than one business day for initial services.
