Since 2015, this organization has grown to become a significant event, tying over 5000 turbans annually in Times Square, while promoting understanding of Sikh values such as equality, honor, self-respect, courage, and spirituality.

Komen foundation to raise awareness about breast cancer, tying pink turbans to honor survivors and fighters of the disease.
