Our Story

The Tuolumne River Conservancy was established in 1993 to mediate the Don Pedro Dam license review. This effort led to the 1995 Settlement Agreement, which improved minimum river flows. Since then, the Conservancy has acquired nearly 400 acres along the Lower Tuolumne River, restoring vital habitats for salmon and trout.

Our Impact

Through dedicated restoration projects, the TRC has transformed land into functional spawning and rearing habitats for salmon and trout, ensuring the river's health for generations to come.
