The TumTum Tree Foundation, inspired by two wine-loving individuals from Birmingham, Alabama, was established to create a charity wine auction that benefits children’s charities in the state. Since its inception in 1990, the foundation has raised over $17.8 million for various children’s charities, including Magic Moments, which grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. In 2005, the organization adopted its current name to better reflect its mission of providing hope and respite for children in need.
