Our Story

In the late 1990s, Tulsa County recognized a critical need for legal representation for children facing abuse, neglect, or abandonment. This led to the formation of Tulsa Lawyers for Children in April 2000, initiated by the Tulsa County Bar Association's committee on Children and the Law. With the support of the Oklahoma Bar Foundation, TLC has made significant strides in ensuring that vulnerable children receive the legal advocacy they deserve.
