About Tulsa Boys’ Home

Founded in 1918, Tulsa Boys’ Home began its journey in a humble two-story frame house in downtown Tulsa. Established with the support of the First Presbyterian Church and the Downtown Rotary Club, it has grown to become the largest residential treatment facility for troubled boys in Oklahoma. The first two boys were discovered sleeping in trash boxes, highlighting the urgent need for such a sanctuary. Today, Tulsa Boys’ Home provides essential residential services to approximately 62 boys aged 13 to 18, many of whom are placed by the Department of Human Services.
