Founded in 1973, the Tuckahoe Steam and Gas Association began with a passionate group of individuals dedicated to preserving the rural heritage of the Eastern Shore. With a focus on collecting and restoring antique agricultural equipment, this organization has grown from 79 charter members to over 250 active members today. The Association's grounds have expanded to nearly 60 acres, featuring a dozen buildings that house restored machinery and equipment, all maintained by dedicated volunteers.
