Our Story

Guiding Light was founded in 2009 by Julianne Burk, who felt a divine calling to support women, especially pregnant teens. Operating from her remodeled childhood home, this ministry officially opened in 2013 and has since expanded its services to include The Resting Place and an Emergency Shelter Option.
