Founded in 2019 by three dedicated truck drivers, Truckers Emergency Assistance Responders (TEAR) was established to address the urgent needs of fellow drivers who find themselves stranded on the road due to carrier abandonment. Many of these drivers, often misclassified as independent contractors, face financial hardships that leave them without the means to return home with their belongings and pets. TEAR is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization recognized by the IRS, committed to providing a hand up, not a handout, to those in distress.
