Our Story

The Madison-Gallatin Chapter of Trout Unlimited was established in 1968 by passionate individuals dedicated to the health of southwest Montana's fisheries. Their efforts were sparked by concerns over habitat impacts and threats to the ecosystem, including a proposed dam on the Yellowstone River.
