Our Story

The Tri-City Latino Festival was born from the vision of Harold “Lefty” Encarnacion and Evelyn “Mimi” Woodson, who sought to unite the community through a vibrant celebration of Latino culture. Despite initial challenges, they partnered with The Panamanian Association of Columbus, GA, to establish this festival as a non-profit event, which has now become a hallmark of diversity and cultural pride in the Tri-City area.
