Our Story
Travelers Aid of Greater Birmingham (TAGB) has been a vital resource for individuals who find themselves displaced or disconnected while traveling for over 100 years. Founded in 1907, TAGB began as a partnership between the YWCA and the Birmingham Terminal Company, initially focused on protecting young women arriving in the city. Over the years, the program expanded to assist any traveler in distress, ultimately becoming an independent organization dedicated to helping those in need.
