TRUE Center was founded to bridge the gap in trauma-based training, intervention, and prevention services for children, families, and community members in the Washington, D.C. area. With nearly half of D.C. children experiencing trauma, the need for accessible mental health support is critical. Unfortunately, high costs and limited resources often leave the most vulnerable without the help they need. TRUE Center is dedicated to ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, has access to the support necessary for healing and resilience.
