Traprock Ridge Land Conservancy

Our Story

The Traprock Ridge Land Conservancy was established in 2023 through the merger of three dedicated land trusts: East Granby Land Trust, West Hartford Land Trust, and Wintonbury Land Trust. With the support of the Peter and Carmen Lucia Buck Foundation, this organization is committed to preserving 49 properties across 642 acres in Connecticut, including active farms, hiking trails, and vital habitats.

Thanks to nearly $200,000 from generous individual donors, the acquisition of these vital lands has been made possible.
