Our Story
Founded in 2008 in New Orleans, Transitional Spaces emerged from a grassroots movement by young skateboarders who sought to reclaim blighted public land for their community. The result was the creation of Parisite DIY Skatepark, a vibrant hub for skateboarding and artistic expression.
Impact
Transitional Spaces operates Louisiana's largest skatepark, Parisite DIY, in partnership with the City of New Orleans. This safe space fosters community engagement and encourages artistic exploration through skateboarding.
