Our Story

Founded in 1950, the Torrey Pines Association emerged from a vision to protect San Diego's natural heritage. With the support of the Ellen Browning Scripps Foundation, this 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization has dedicated itself to the conservation of the Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, ensuring its beauty and biodiversity are preserved for future generations.

Impact

Through dedicated efforts, the Torrey Pines Conservancy has successfully preserved 1,500 trees and 168 acres of stunning natural beauty, while establishing an endowment to support ongoing conservation initiatives.
