Toledo Integrated Media Education, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was established in 2013 to support independent media that amplifies underrepresented perspectives in the Toledo area. Since December 2017, the organization has operated WAKT-LP 106.1FM, a community radio station that serves as a platform for diverse voices.
