Our Story

Together & Free was established in 2018 by a dedicated coalition of volunteers responding to the Trump Administration's Zero Tolerance Policy. This initiative was born out of a commitment to provide critical support for families separated at the U.S. border. As a trusted organization, Together & Free was among the first to be called upon by legal groups to assist families in need, offering emergency assistance and advocating against the trauma inflicted upon them.

Impact

Since its inception, Together & Free has evolved into the primary case management provider for families affected by the Zero Tolerance Policy. Our bilingual case managers have successfully distributed over $1 million in direct assistance to more than 1,000 families reunified under the Biden Administration's Family Reunification Task Force.
