TLC House Indiana

Our Story
In 2008, a vision emerged in Steuben County, Indiana, when a woman and her two friends sought to create a safe haven for women and children affected by domestic violence. This vision led to the establishment of TLC-Steuben, Inc. After achieving 501(c)(3) status, the organization formed its first Board of Directors in 2009. A significant milestone was reached in 2010 when Farmers State Bank generously gifted a house to TLC-Steuben, allowing the team to transform it into a welcoming shelter. The first resident arrived in November 2011, marking the beginning of a journey towards healing and empowerment.
Our Impact
TLC House Indiana is dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence through a comprehensive range of supportive services, educational programs, and counseling opportunities.
