Our Story

In 2006, Andrew Garza embarked on a college internship in Dalun, Ghana, where he met local leaders Manzah Iddi Habib and Abukari Abdul-Fatawu. They recognized a critical gap in early education, as no high-quality facilities existed within a half-hour radius. In 2009, they opened their first preschool, serving 50 students. Today, Titagya Schools operates four high-performing pre-schools and kindergartens, along with a teacher-training program that emphasizes interactive teaching methods.

Our Impact

Currently, Titagya Schools serves 300 students, acting as demonstration labs for public schools. By collaborating with the government, the initiative aims to enhance the number and quality of pre-schools and kindergartens, ultimately improving lifetime opportunities for approximately 400,000 children aged 3-5 in Northern Ghana.
