Tiqvah Hands of Hope began in the fall of 2009, inspired by a successful program in Chicago. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to transforming the lives of children in under-resourced neighborhoods by fostering relationships and providing essential support. Initially serving a small group, Tiqvah has expanded its reach to include families from various Canton city and area charter schools, now operating from Christ Presbyterian Church.
Each year, Tiqvah’s impact grows as it focuses on the academic, emotional, and mental success of its students. The program has successfully served 76 students, with 32 families enrolled consecutively, showcasing the strong relationships built within the community.
