Our Story

Founded in 2008 by Dr. Wendy Leonard, TIP Global Health began with a mission to deliver quality primary health care in Rwanda. Established in response to the overwhelming health challenges faced by local communities, particularly in the context of HIV and childhood malnutrition, TIP has evolved to focus on community-driven health systems.

Impact

TIP Global Health has achieved significant milestones, including a 67% decrease in underweight malnutrition and zero cases of mother-to-child HIV transmission since 2016. Training 1,250 frontline health workers has empowered them to serve a population of 450,000.
