Our Story
The Timber Pointe Charitable Foundation was established in 1996 to secure funding and resources for the Timber Pointe Outdoor Center. Founded by community leaders Don D Rood Sr. and David Bateman, this 501(c)(3) organization is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities through specialized outdoor programs.
Impact
This year, over 1,600 campers with disabilities will experience the joy of outdoor recreation at Timber Pointe. The center also offers respite sessions and educational programs throughout the year, ensuring that individuals with special needs have access to enriching experiences.
