Our Story

Tim St. John was a remarkable young man whose life, though brief, left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. A dedicated student at Purdue University, Tim was not only a mechanical engineering major but also a passionate athlete, earning national recognition as an All-American with USA Triathlon. His infectious enthusiasm and selfless spirit inspired many, making him a natural leader among his peers. Tragically, Tim's life was cut short on June 19, 2022, due to a careless motorist during a triathlon training ride in North Dakota. The Tim St. John Memorial Foundation was established to honor his legacy and continue his mission of making the world a safer place for cyclists, runners, and pedestrians.

Impact

The Foundation partners with organizations dedicated to enhancing roadway safety through driver education and victim support initiatives. Additionally, it provides scholarships for graduating high school seniors in Tim's hometown of Northbrook, IL, and supports local and triathlon-centered causes that Tim cherished.
